The story of Bowen began when a few enlightened French men travelled to Northampton to launch a Goodyear shoe collection for chic Parisian men at an affordable price.

Local expertise, Goodyear and welt construction as well as Bowen's sophisticated, stylish look brought about an immediate success.

The partnership with Alfred Sargent Shoemakers in Northampton, established since 1898, continues to strengthen Bowen’s reputation, opening the brand up to clients in a network of boutiques in Paris, London and Brussels.
